I really wanted to love these Leatherman Skins but I think I received a bad batch. I know 3M is good but the fabric kept pealing off the sticky 3M tape when I tried to remove it from the paper backing. It happened on all corners and I carefully placed it back. It has lost some of its stickiness and now it is pealing up off the tool. I’m not sure about longevity and may need to apply some additional adhesive. I don’t think this should have happened especially considering the cost of the product.

This is really one of those things where there’s life before the skin and life after. I’ve been dropping slick Leathermans for decades so I thought I’d give these a try. I don’t know what they’re made of but they are perfect. Thin enough not to notice in pocket, tough enough to take a beating. They’re grippy but also don’t get gunk stuck in them. About to buy some for my arc. Absolutely phenomenal product.

This is such a cool upgrade. Helps the leatherman be a lot grippier in the hand, it feels like a custom $80 micarta handle on a knife.
