Demko AD 20.5 Sharklock Micarta Scale Sets (Large Pivot)

Brown Linen Micarta: The scales fit well and feel great in the hand. I oiled them and they look amazing! I did have some difficulty dialing in the pivot tuning due to the thickness of the micarta compared to the stock G10. After some trial and error and a couple applications of fresh loc-tite I ultimately had to settle for the action being a little stiff in order to get enough thread engagement to prevent the screw from loosening regularly. The way the scales fill the hand compared to the stock G10 more than makes up the action issues, and I expect over time it will break in and be just fine. I would 100% buy these again!

Excellent quality and fit!

Excellent micarta scales! The AD 20.5 has excellent textured G10, but it’s a tad thin for me. These micarta sclaes gave it just the right thickness, and they include longer screws for the pocket clip to accommodate it. I’ll be back soon—undoubtedly—to get micarta for some other knife in my collection. Also, the package arrived VERY fast, so thanks for that as well. Take care.

Scales were well made and a perfect fit. They are a little thicker than the standard Demko scales, which I prefer.
