Benchmade Bailout Micarta Scale Sets

As micarta material is constructed from linen or paper fabrics infused with resin, there is inherent color and texture variation between scale sets. No two are 100% identical. While precision machined and often sanded, the handmade micarta process leads to minor differences in surface smoothness and mottled patterning. Sets may range from smooth to slightly rough. Product images are close representations, but your received scales will have a delightful uniqueness. Please expect this typical micarta variation that gives it a signature visual appeal. You may also prefer to darken your micarta scale set by adding blade wax, beard oil, food grade oil, etc. or simply use the knife as you always would and let it develop on its own. DO NOT ADD ANY CORROSIVE PRODUCTS TO YOUR MICARTA TO CLEAN OR DARKEN AS IT MAY DETERIORATE THE RESIN. If you have questions, please email us and we will get right back to you.  

Benchmade Bailout Micarta scale sets are finally here! We offer two pattern choices: a smooth plain finish that allows the micarta to develop its own character over time, or our popular Fingerprint milling for additional grip. We currently have 27 different micarta colors to choose from, Linen Natural to Canvas Dragon's Blood. You should have no problem locating a shade that perfectly matches your style and EDC gear. RGT offers precision milling and sanding on each set. Proudly made in our USA workshop to OEM specs for a flawless fit. As a natural material, micarta will gradually patina and wear to tell a unique story of your carry over time. Choose your favorite color and texture combo to upgrade both aesthetics and ergonomics with scales tailored to fit the Benchmade Bailout model explicitly.
